RIFIUTO ASSOLUTO

The "absolute refusal" is a reportage about waste collected in a long journey of over 2,000 kilometers, in the southwest of the Libyan Sahara, on the borders with Chad and Algeria. The attempt of the reportage was to describe the land crossed from a unusual point of view, in which the beauty and the sublime immensity of the landscape serves as a "just" a backdrop for small and humble traces of human passage, fragile signs of those, more or less unconsciously, he wanted to testify to their existence.

Il progetto “Rifiuto assoluto” consiste in un reportage sui rifiuti incontrati in un lungo viaggio, di oltre 2.000 chilometri, nel sud ovest del Sahara libico, ai confini con il Ciad e l’Algeria. Il tentativo del reportage è stato quello di raccontare la terra attraversata partendo da un punto di vista inconsueto, nel quale la bellezza e l’immensità sublime del paesaggio funge “solo” da sfondo per piccole e umili tracce del passaggio dell’uomo, segni fragili di chi, più o meno inconsapevolmente, ha voluto testimoniare la propria esistenza.
